Tessenderlo Kerley international, a main player in the foliar fertilizer industry, partnered with the VIB Agro-Incubator for a comparative study of various foliar fertilizers in different concentrations. The fertilizers were applied using the automated robotic precision sprayer. In combination with an even flat spray nozzle, an even liquid distribution over the pots is guaranteed. To assess chemical leaf damage, a leaf burning score card was developed to be used during weekly assessments of the sprayed leaves combined with chemical analysis of multiple plant organs.
